CONSIDERING  TRAINING  WITH  WILTON?

   

Thank You for considering me as your Fitness and Wellness Coach.

 

       The pursuit of health and fitness can be confusing.  It seems there is always a special program or some type of magical equipment that is being touted as the solution to your wellness needs.  You start to realize it’s not so easy to decipher contradictory information and conclude with confidence which approach is the truth, or what piece of equipment will really improve your personal well-being and work for you.  A television show or infomercial expounds about the latest great new diet, which is surely destined to set up for failure anyone who happens to follow it. A newspaper article reports the latest exercise trend.  Then there’s the promise of the four-minute, total body workout.  Another promotion attempts to lure you to a program that promises immediate results, with magical new technology that is “researched” proven. Will these or any other hooks finally give you the success you’ve dreamed about, send you the emergency or just leave you in disappointed and frustrated one more time?

 

          Quite often, attempts at enticement are driven by a marketing plan that does not consider your real needs and best interest.  And, regardless of how wacky or unsafe the program or equipment might be, the irony is that it could work for a while. That is, until you get bored, dissatisfied, or injured.

       

          Personalized fitness coaching gives you an alternative to this mass market, impersonal approach to your fitness and health.  As your fitness-n-Wellness coach I'll provide you with a sound program that is specifically tailored to your needs now, and we’I will amend it so that it grows with you as you progress and your needs change down the road.  I am committed to helping you achieve your health goal of health and fitness by empowering you through training, educating, and motivation.  I  specialize in the areas of strengthing your body and lifestyle weight management through lifestyle modifications that lead to permanent lifestyle changes which result in a healthier and better quality life.

 

          Your programs are designed using knowledge based on the most current scientific research conducted at universities and non-profit organizations. By using results from these institutions we know that the research results are not influenced by companies for profit who rip off your hard earned dollars by using bogus research findings, that when applied equates to no results for you, but big bucks for them.

 

          Rather than perform a flurry of mindless activity that gets you tired and sweaty, l tailor design a program with the information you provide from your health history questionnaire, assessment results, proven researched techniques, my experience resulting in a program that will give you the maximum return for the goals you set for yourself. 

 

          My programs include a comprehensive lifestyle plan. Training includes safe instruction in resistance training (weights, dumbbells, tubes, bands, and machines), flexibility stretching, nutrition (eating healthy for life, and weight management; no dieting allowed) cardiovascular conditioning, and functional training for everyday movement.

 

         You’ll learn proper exercise technique and the reasons why each of these areas of fitness is important.  You’ll cross-train (change activities), and we’ll periodize (change how hard you work over specific time periods) your fitness training so you’ll stay interested, have fun, and keep the results coming.  Even if you’re pressed for time, or constantly on the go find I can design a program to fit into your busy schedule.

 

           In the areas of nutrition, you’ll learn the proper way to manage your weight through gradual lifestyle changes. No gimmicks allowed! Learn healthy choice eating and shopping, how to read food labels, meal preparation, and restaurant eating. Learn how to change destructive behaviors and habits that lead to weight gain or weight loss and much much more. In order to design the most effective program for you, your input is critical. I really do listen to what you have to say and consider your thoughts, feelings, and opinions when designing. This attention to detail will result in a program that meets your fitness, health, and nutritional need.

 

           During your workouts tell me how you feel, voice your concerns, be straightforward and forthcoming, and ask whatever question you might have.  This is your personal training program, and things are much better when you are actively involved.  I always welcome your input.

 

          The results that  I help you achieve go further than cosmetic.  You’ll look good and obtain a healthy ratio of body fat to lean muscle, which is a key measurement of health.  You’ll also feel great; have increased energy and a heightened state of overall health.  You’ll become more agile and skilled in the sports in which you choose to participate.  As you increase your fitness you will reduce your chance of heart disease and be much better equipped to manage stress.

 

          To get results these I'll  need your cooperation, enthusiasm, steady attendance, and commitment.  We will work as a team, giving 110% effort.  (This doesn’t mean going all out during every workout!)  To obtain optimum health and fitness you should schedule at least two training sessions per week, eventually, you’ll progress to do some type of activity most days of the week.   You will be encouraged to do several of these activity sessions on your own.  I will help you plan and schedule these workouts so that it’s easy for you to complete them on your own. We will never progress you to fast and will always meet you at your pace.

 

          After a couple of weeks up to four weeks of training and beyond, you should start feeling and seeing some great results.  At first, you will notice that you’ll feel better and have more energy. You’ll then notice that your clothes begin to fit more loosely. You’ll are losing size and inches while becoming leaner. To make sure you’re on track we’I will periodically reevaluate your program.  Constant supervision and adjustment are essential features of responsible fitness training. In addition to discussing your situation, needs, and preferences, I pledge to work so that these needs and desires are satisfied.
